To kickstart your journey, I urge you to grab a pen and paper and describe your ideal life. Write it down as if it’s happening right now. Yes, I know this sounds cliché, but allow me to explain why this practice is crucial.

Two years ago, during the pandemic, I found myself unemployed, grappling with college debt, rent, and basic necessities. As the world came to a halt, I felt utterly lost. In that moment of despair, I decided to write:

"I live in this beautiful city… My partner is an amazing person, we share a healthy, joyful relationship… I am a recognized author and a successful content creator… I earn a substantial income through various platforms… I travel freely and enjoy life to the fullest."

I penned my aspirations as if they were already true. Initially, I was skeptical—writing seemed futile. Yet, two years later, I find myself living the life I envisioned. I never really believed in the power of manifestation, but here’s what I think happened:

By writing these goals down, my brain subconsciously registered them. I may have forgotten the paper, but my mind began to align my actions with those aspirations. Our brains can’t distinguish between reality and imagination.

Imagine playing a virtual reality game; your brain believes you’re truly in that world, feeling disoriented when you remove the headset. Similarly, when you declare, "This is my lifestyle," you set the stage for your reality.

The most significant advantage of hitting rock bottom is that there’s nothing left to lose. I often tell those who have hit a low point, “Congratulations! You are in a unique position to manifest change because you have nothing to hold you back.”

Reflect on your influences: the music you listen to, the books you read, and the company you keep shape your reality. During the pandemic, I made a pivotal choice to prioritize my health and started exercising at home. Soon after, my roommates joined me.

Choose your circle wisely; one individual can dramatically influence your life. If you find yourself surrounded by negativity, it’s essential to maintain your boundaries. If you have the power to choose your companions, why choose toxicity?

It’s exhausting to strive for improvement while surrounded by those who pull you down. I faced pushback from friends and family who doubted my ambitions. However, I learned to let go of those who hindered my progress.

The people who remained in my life now celebrate my achievements with pride, as I relentlessly pursued my goals.

Additionally, affirmations can reshape your mindset. I adopted the mantra, "I do not chase; I attract. What belongs to me will find me." This simple phrase has shifted my perspective, allowing me to attract rather than chase.

Finally, action is essential. You can’t simply wish to be successful; you must actively work towards it. Start by creating your accounts on platforms like YouTube or Medium, and share your content widely. The more you put yourself out there, the more opportunities will arise.

Believe that you are worthy of good things. Stop doubting your potential for success. Embrace the challenges and seize the opportunities that come your way. The time for action is now.
