No one seems curious about the woman behind these longings, nor do they question when she became insignificant. No one inquires about the dismissal of her aspirations and dreams.

Everyone seems preoccupied with how I fit into their perceptions of who I should be.

I’m exhausted from trying to squeeze my square self into their round expectations. It’s time for me to shatter the mold of wife, mother, and friend into fragments.

My spirit craves the freedom to be unapologetically me, to embrace my sexy and adventurous side without restraint.
